This week we looked different of interactions and what kind of data could be discerned from them. I hadn't really thought about this before but my life isn't really all that private. People could find out a lot just from a simple text message. This information makes me much warier of technology and my interactions.

We also looked at some problems and the different types of problem solving. I really enjoyed this activity. I tend to over complicate things and I got to look at some things where the simpler approach was much easier. I also learned that I solve most problems by creating a list or guessing and checking. This will be helpful in the future.

This week we looked at the different types of communication and privacy of data. We looked at how some things can get you in trouble if they are made public. Some of this really surprised me. Now I recognize that I have to be more cautious in the future.

We also watched some technology related videos. My favorite was Johnny Lee's presentation on the wii remote and its infrared light sensing. I had never thought about this technology that way, so seeing all the seemingly magical things that resulted from it was really interesting.

This week in the fabulous Computer Programming we looked at different Web 2.0 tools. I chose Blabberize. It's this random site where you can take a picture, designate where a mouth is, and it will move the mouth according to a recorded sound you add to it. I enjoyed it a lot, though it's not very practical. It's still pretty fun hearing Darth Vader's voice coming out of a cute little bunny.
